Devil May Cry 5 Expected to be 15 Hours Long

Devil May Cry 5 Expected to be 15 Hours Long - May Have More Playable Characters 23

Most action games like the Devil May Cry series typically do not have long hours of content. If you want something lengthy, RPGs and JRPGs are still the way to go. And it looks like Devil May Cry 5 will continue that trend as we now have a rough estimate as to how long it will take players to complete the game.

In an interview with Korean website GameShot, Devil May Cry 5 director Hideaki Itsuno was asked just how long the game would last this time around. Itsuno-san said that going off of their internal playthroughs and tests of the game, they expect that Devil May Cry 5 will take about 15 hours to see through to the end.

If this is indeed an accurate estimate, then it would be one of the lengthiest games in the entire series. Considering how great everything has looked from Devil May Cry 5 so far and that this is the first numbered entry in over a decade, I’m sure most people won’t complain about the game being lengthy.

On another note, Itsuno-san mentioned that there is a possibility of additional playable characters if players want them and make their voices heard. Trish and Lady would be the obvious choice given their inclusion in the game thus far, and Vergil will most likely be heavily requested as well.

There is expected to be a new demo for the game coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime next month. This will be different from their most recent demo, so you can give that a try when it’s out.

Devil May Cry 5 will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on 8th March 2019.

Pokdepinion: Personally, no complaints here, especially since I’m confident it will have great replay value.
