The previous generation of the ASUS ROG G20 gaming desktop were packed with 4th-gen Intel Core-i CPUs and NVIDIA Maxwell or Kepler cards. Having all that hardware in a 12.5L chassis was already very interesting, but now ASUS is ready to provide even more performance in that compact size, with a new Intel Core i7-6700 Skylake CPU and a choice of Pascal-based NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 or GeForce GTX 1070 graphics cards.

ROG G20

The updated ROG G20 gaming desktops will come with up to 32GB of DDR4-2133 RAM, 256GB M.2 SSD and a 2TB SATA HDD. The variant with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 will come with 32GB of RAM, while the GTX 1070-packing one will have 16GB of RAM. With the improved efficiency of the Pascal cards, this upgrade shouldn’t need any changes to the current ROG G20 power supply.

If you are interested in the updated ROG G20, be prepared to part with S$3198 (RM9549.34) for the one with the GTX 1080, or S$2598 (RM7757.72). We aren’t sure when it will be made available in Malaysia, but we will be sure to update you when we receive news of its availability here.

Pokdepinion: While it may seem pricey for the specs, you do get a very compact full-specced gaming rig for the price.
