“BenQ ZOWIE is dedicated to eSports”

BenQ has announced ZOWIE to be its new brand for eSports. ZOWIE will not represent all its future releases in the gaming line. Hence, all future BenQ gaming-related hardware will be introduced under the ZOWIE brand name.

Zowie x BenQ

A little backstory about ZOWIE, the ZOWIE brand was dedicated to developing competitive gaming products right from its inception in 2008. It has developed a variety of peripherals to suit every gamers needs and preferences. In 2015, it was acquired by BenQ to spearhead the company’s eSports product line.

Simeon Sia, Marketing Manager of BenQ Malaysia has this to say about BenQ’s deep understanding of eSports:

“BenQ ZOWIE is dedicated to eSports. We believe that gaming is in the experience

and we go the extra mile to enhance that experience for the gaming enthusiast. Our

understanding of what hard-core gamers want from their gear is based on usage scenarios and

our close association with players themselves. We are confident that our gaming line-up will

more than meet the expectations of professional players.”

ZOWIE will now offer the XL and RL series monitors, SR and TF-X series mousepads, as well as their very own highly acclaimed EC and ZA series of gaming mice. ZOWIE mice are ready for every gaming style, with options for right and left handed players.

The eXTREMESLAND ZOWIE Asia CS:GO 2016 will feature ZOWIE as the title sponsor and official monitor provider for the tournaments in over 20 countries across Asia Pacific. The Grand Final will be in China in September, with contenders vying for the prize pool of $100 000. The eXTREMESLAND ZOWIE Asia CS:GO 2016 Malaysia Championship will be held at the Orange eSport Stadium on the 31st of July. ZOWIE product experience will be available throughout the local qualifier event.
