The HUAWEI Mate 20 series is officially going on sale tomorrow at Pavilion KL, and the earliest 1000 buyers will receive a free DJI Tello worth RM469. Well if that isn’t enough to entice you, here are a few points as to why you should really get yourself a HUAWEI Mate 20 tomorrow.

Wide-angle camera

Very few devices actually feature a wide angle camera, and even fewer have a wide-angle camera with autofocus. And only three in the entire world have a Leica wide angle camera. The autofocusing on the wide-angle camera allows the HUAWEI Mate 20 series to capture macro shots from just 2.5cm away from the subject. That allows for ridiculously detailed close ups of tiny objects, a new breakthrough for smartphones. You could possible achieve similar results with external lens, but who wants to be carrying them around?

Seamless security

The HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro’s under-display fingerprint scanner works together with the 3D infrared facial recognition to deliver convenient yet high security. The fact that you don’t have to fumble with weird side-mounted fingerprint scanners or you can even skip fingerprint scanners entirely with the Mate 20 Pro. 3D IR facial recognition is far more secure than your standard image facial recognition, without having to sacrifice on the convenience of unlocking your smartphone by just looking at it.

Kirin 980 is a beast

The Kirin 980 in the HUAWEI Mate 20 series features the most powerful CPU clusters ever featured in an Android smartphone. The Dual NPU also enhances the overall user experience, by delivering a better camera experience with exclusive AI enhancements unseen before on any other smartphone, such as AI Color. They also promise better gaming performance than their previous devices, and we don’t doubt them one bit with the much beefier GPU in the Kirin 980, as compared to the Kirin 970. Also being the first 7nm chipset to ever be featured in an Android, the Kirin 980 is definitely the chipset you want in your smartphone in 2018.

These are just some of the features that we think makes the HUAWEI Mate 20 series one of the best smartphones in the market right now. And with a price starting from just RM2799, it also stands to offer amazing value for money. That free DJI Tello on top? Icing on the cake. Make sure to make your way to Pavilion KL/Queensbay Mall/AEON Bandar Dato Onn to get yours tomorrow!
