Acer Malaysia Unveils The Eco-Friendly Vero Series Expansion
In keeping with the theme of Acer Day 2022, ‘Make Your Green Mark,’ Acer Malaysia recently unveiled commercial editions of the Vero series of devices to support a more sustainable future by giving companies more alternatives to lower their carbon footprint.
The new Vero devices include the TravelMate Vero laptop, the Veriton Vero Mini desktop, and the Veriton Vero All-In-One (AIO) desktop.
Acer TravelMate Vero
The TravelMate Vero is an alternative for organisations and corporations seeking for an environmentally friendly commercial laptop. To keep the Vero essence, the TravelMate Vero chassis is made of 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and shipped in 100% recyclable packaging.
The device is also engineered to MIL-STD-810G specifications to endure intensive usage and shocks from accidental drops without sacrificing durability.
The Intel Core i5 and Intel Iris Xe power the TravelMate Vero, which has 8GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage for fast file loading. Its distinct Trusted Platform Module (TPM) delivers enterprise-level security and manageability to secure valuable company data.
The TravelMate Vero also has Acer ProShield Plus, an all-in-one security solution that incorporates encryption and decryption as well as biometric authentication procedures.
Acer TravelMate Vero is available at Acer eStore, official Shopee and Lazada stores, and is priced at RM3,999.
Customers who buy the new TravelMate Vero before 30 September 2022, will be eligible for a free Acer Thin & Light USB Wireless Mouse, an Urban Backpack, and RM120 in Touch n’ Go eWallet credit. Orders purchased during the Acer Day 2022 roadshow will be eligible for an extra RM200 discount.

Acer Veriton Vero Mini
The Veriton Vero Mini delivers performance in a one-litre package and is manufactured of 25% PCR plastic in its vented chassis and arrives with a 100% recyclable box. The device is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU and comes with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB M.2 SSD. The second M.2 slot and DDR4 RAM allow customers to expand the PC to meet their memory and storage requirements.
With the Acer Veriton Vero Mini’s unique visual user interface BIOS, users and technicians may simply access and set functionalities through the keyboard or a mouse. The Acer System Health Indicator gives a handy dashboard overview of each component’s state, and if an issue is identified, the indicator light on the power button will blink red.
The device’s small size and light weight of 1.3kg, along with a VESA Mountable design, enable users to select the optimum positioning, including installing it on the monitor.

Acer Veriton All-In-One
The Veriton Vero AIO desktop is designed for environmentally conscious enterprises and is built of 30% PCR material and comes with a keyboard and mouse that are also made of PCR material. The desktop is sent in 100% recyclable packaging and includes a screwless rear cover that can be readily removed for updates and maintenance to extend its useful life.
The desktop provides a 24-inch FHD IPS display which enables wide viewing angles. It also comes with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and 512GB M.2 SSD as well as an extra DDR4 slot and M.2 port for memory and storage upgrades for a seamless computing experience.
The Veriton Vero AIO features an Infrared (IR) scanner for face recognition as well as integrated Tobii Aware smart technology, which will automatically blur when users move away from the device and lock the screen immediately thereafter.
Peeker detection technology employs minor visual cues to inform users when someone is peering from behind the screen, and it subsequently provides automated or reaction-based privacy screen blur for greater privacy.
