It seems that Sony has released their latest compact camera, the Cyber-shot HX99, which they claim is the world’s smallest travel high zoom camera.
Sony HX99 Compact Camera
With its small build, it packs a 24-720mm zoom, which is quite impressive. Of course, the camera isn’t all about its zooming capabilities. The HX99 comes with 18.2MP 1/2.3″ Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor as well as the BIONZ X processor. It offers an ISO range of 80-12800 and 10fps continuous shooting.
The camera allows you the ability to record UHD 4K videos and with its zoom lens, it is capable to go far with its 28x optical zoom.
Other than that, it measures at just 10.2×5.81×3.55 cm and weighs only 242g. The camera also has Fast Intelligent Auto Focus and Eye Auto Focus which helps in locking onto subjects. To improve sharpness, the lens has Optical SteadyShot image stabilization to help limit the effects of camera shake.
The Sony Cyber-shot HX99 is said to come out in November 2018 and comes with a $450 (around RM1868).
