Razer Kishi V2's New Firmware Update Enables Virtual Touch Input on Android Devices

Razer announced a new firmware update for its Android-based controller, Kishi V2 for Android – the update is set to support Virtual Controller Mode, which allows for virtual touch inputs on games; at the same time, a new ‘major update’ for its Nexus software is rolling out as of today. To enable the feature, simply head to Razer Nexus app (by pressing the dedicated app button on the controller) once updated and enable ‘Virtual Controller Mode’ under Settings.

The feature allows users to perform touch actions by pressing the button it is mapped in the settings, and users can customize the areas and the type of input based on each game’s control buttons. Aside from Kishi V2, the company says this feature will be available soon for Razer Edge – the company’s dedicated mobile gaming handheld – in Q1 2023.

Pokdepinion: That’s a nice feature addition to the controller.
