The ASUS ExpertBook B1 is ASUS’ entry-level member of the prestigious family, and comes in two screen sizes: 14″ and 15.6″. While it doesn’t share the ultra-light designs of the ASUS ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B9, it makes up for it with a significantly more comprehensive I/O, including even a VGA port into the mix.
All of the ports are tested to withstand up to 10 000 connection cycles. The rest of the laptop is similarly built for endurance. The ExpertBook B1 meets and surpasses the MIL-STD 810H US military standard with its aluminum alloy lid, stiff internal keyboard bracket and protective foam that protects the hard drive from bumps and shocks.
As an enterprise-grade laptop, the ExpertBook B1 is also designed for maximum security and privacy. It packs a power-key fingerprint sensor and also a shielded webcam as standard, and can be equipped with an optional TPM 2.0 chip as well to meet more stringent security requirements.

The ExpertBook B5 is the mid-range member of the family. Touting a 13.3″ display, it also stands to be the most portable option, while also giving you the choice to choose between a standard clamshell laptop form factor with the ExpertBook B5, or the 2-in-1 convertible ExpertBook B5 Flip.
The ExpertBook B5 weighs a mere 1.1kg, while the ExpertBook B5 Flip comes in at 1.2kg. Both models are equally thin at 16.9mm, making them perfect for carrying around on your daily commute. ASUS ExpertBook B9 – RM7989
The ASUS ExpertBook B9 (B9400) is the evolution of the ASUS ExpertBook B9 (B9450). It is still the world’s lightest 14″ business laptop, thanks to its exquisite magnesium-lithium alloy chassis. All that lightness doesn’t come at the cost of usability though, as the ASUS ExpertBook B9 packs a large 66WHr battery, and it is also rated to exceed the MIL-STD 810H standards.
As the flagship of the lineup, the ASUS ExpertBook B9 adds an infrared camera to its security features. This, combined with a smart proximity sensor, allowed ASUS to implement the ASUS AdaptiveLock technology that can quickly lock your laptop when you have to step away from your laptop, and quickly unlock it when it recognizes your face in front of the screen. It also comes with a hardware TPM 2.0 chip for enhanced security.
