At the Next@Acer 2021 global press conference, Acer also introduced new products across a variety of product lines with an emphasis on antimicrobial protection. Here’s what you need to know.

Acer TravelMate Spin P4

The Acer TravelMate Spin P4 is a business-centric convertible laptop featuring the Acer Antimicrobial 360 Design, which has a silver ion antimicrobial agent covering high-touch surfaces like the chassis, keyboard and touchpad. These silver ion are highly reactive particles which can reduce the growth rate of microbes on contact significantly.

This laptop is powered by up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro CPU with up to 1TB M.2 SSD storage. Apart from that, it also has a spill-resistant keyboard, shock-absorbent corners that meet MIL-STD 810H resistance standard, a 14-inch Full HD touchscreen display with Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass screen.

For better versatility and portability, you can rotate the laptop up to 360° so it can be used in a variety of ways, it weighs a mere 1.53kg, is 17.9mm thin, and it can last up to 13.5 hours per full charge. Moreover, you can get it charged to 80% in just one hour, so you don’t have to be stuck near a wall outlet for long hours.

Acer Enduro Urban N3

If you’re looking for a laptop with an emphasis on durability, the Acer Enduro Urban N3 might be the one you need. It’s a 14-inch laptop powered by up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce MX330 GPU, and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM. All of this and it measures in at 1.85 kg and is 21.95mm thin. This might not be ultrathin but keep in mind that it’s durable enough to meet the standards of the MIL-STD 810H military-grade certification.

This rugged laptop has four reinforces corners to help it survive drops up to 122cm high. Moreover, the ports and buttons are waterproof, with the aid of Acer’s waterproof Aquafan which helps to drain any liquids that might make its way inside the laptop. It’s taking protection one step further with the help the Acer Antimicrobial 360 Design and Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass screen. Speaking of the screen, it’s a Full HD display with up to 450 nits of brightness. Battery life is said to be up to 13 hours per full charge.

Acer Enduro Urban T3

If you require a tablet instead, then the Acer Enduro Urban T3 might fit the bill. It’s a rugged 10-inch Full HD Android 11 tablet powered by the MediaTek MT8385 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It’s also a MIL-STD 810H certified device with all four corners reinforced, allowing it to survive 26 drops from a height of 122cm.

The ports, speakers, and buttons are waterproofed, and it has an IP53 resistance rating for dust and water protection. It also features the Acer Antimicrobial 360 Design with silver ion covering all of its touchable surfaces. It measures in at 9.92mm thin and is 595g light. Apart from that, you have a 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera, microphone with AI noise reduction, and dual-band Wi-Fi support.

Acer VE246Q

Acer Doubling Down on Antimicrobial Products With New Laptops, Monitor and Tablet

If you already have a PC solution and instead want an antimicrobial monitor, the Acer VE246Q will be what you want. It’s a 23.6-inch Full HD monitor using VA panel with a 100 million to 1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angle. Like the other products, this monitor features the Acer Antimicrobial 360 Design.

Apart from that, it’s power-saving LED backlight design bagged it a number of green certifications, including ENERGY STAR®, TCO and EPEAT. For a more comfortable viewing experience, it comes with Acer ComfyView and Acer BlueLightShield features.

Pokdepinion: I would actually like to try doing drop tests with those laptops. I’m sure they can survive just fine, but I would like to see it first-hand.
