Acer’s Chromebook is stronger than me!

Acer has just revealed their newest line of products at their ‘The Next Pinnacle’ earlier today and one of the products launched is the Acer Chromebook 311. The Acer Chromebook 311 has a 11.6 inch HD (1366×768) display with a 180 degrees hinge and features a low power consumption processor in the Intel Celeron Quad-Core N4100 which should allow you up to 12 hours of battery life with a single charge so you don’t have to carry your laptop charger around.

Other specifications include 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB eMMC storage, two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.1 ports as well as microSD card reader. In terms of connectivity, the Acer Chromebook 311 features Intel Gigabit WiFi and 802.11ac wireless antenna with 2×2 MU-MIMO technology for wireless speeds. Also this laptop runs Chrome OS – hence the name. In terms of audio, this laptop packs HD stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop also features an HD (1280 x 720) webcam with an 88 degree wide angle lens and supports HDR.

The durability department of the Acer Chromebook 311 is something of an amazement. It has a rugged design and is compliant with a very stringent U.S. Military Standard (MIL-STD 810G). This rugged and reinforced design is what makes the Acer Chromebook 311 able to withstand drops of up to 122cm and 60KG worth of downward pressure. In addition to it’s rugged design, the Acer Chromebook 311 is resistant to accidental spills pf up to 330ml of water due to it’s keyboard design that routes water away from key internal components and instead drains them out from the bottom of the chassis.

The Acer Chromebook 311 will retail for RM 1,299 and will be available for purchase sometime in May 2019 at all Acer official online stores and authorised resellers across the country.

Pokdepinion: I like the look of this laptop. It’s durable, it’s cheap and looks like it’s perfect for normal work with it’s impressive battery life. If I didn’t have my own laptop already I wouldn’t hesitate in getting this.
