Acer Spin Series, Acer Swift 3 And Acer Aspire 3 Laptops Get New Updates

Acer Malaysia has just announced new updates to their Acer Spin series, Acer Swift 3 And Acer Aspire 3 laptops, in conjunction with Father’s Day. These laptops are perfect for those looking for work, study or entertainment usage.

Acer Spin Series

Acer Spin 5

The Acer Spin 5 is a touchscreen convertible laptop that weighs just 1.2kg and is 14.8mm thin, while its brother, the updated Acer Spin 3, weighs 1.4kg and is 15.9mm thin, and was designed with individuals seeking flexibility and productivity in mind.

Both laptops feature eye-catching 360-degree hinges that allow them to transform into a variety of different form factors that suit the user’s environment, such as tablet mode for taking notes, tent mode for watching movies with minimal space requirements, or clamshell mode for a more ergonomic typing experience and improved thermal system.

Acer Spin 3

Both Spin 5 and Spin 3 have Intel Evo platform design and are powered by up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Iris Xe Graphics to provide high performance for users’ projects. Both laptops have up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage inside. The Acer Spin 5 is equipped with the latest PCIe Gen 4 SSD, which offers double the transfer speed of its predecessor.

The Acer Spin 5 features a 13.5-inch QHD IPS display with narrow bezels for a remarkable 80% screen-to-body ratio, while the Acer Spin 3 has a 13.3-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) multi-touch IPS display. Both laptops include an Acer Active Stylus with 4,096 pressure sensitivity levels as well as 15 hours of battery life with fast charging technology.

Both the Acer Spin 5 and Acer Spin 3 are now available at all Acer official online stores and Acer authorised resellers around the country. The starting prices are RM4,599 and RM3,999 respectively.

Acer Swift 3 (Evo Certified)

The new Acer Swift 3 offers responsiveness from its 1.2kg and 15.95m thin aluminium and magnesium-aluminium metal chassis, which is Intel Evo platform design approved. The elegant and lightweight new Acer Swift 3 is powered by up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Iris Xe Graphics to deliver performance and portability to consumers who keep an active modern lifestyle. Like the Acer Spin 5, the new Acer Swift 3 comes with up to 16GB of RAM and a PCIe Gen 4 SSD that offers transfer speeds of up to 16GB per second.

In addition, the 14-inch FHD IPS display on the new Acer Swift 3 supports a 100% sRGB colour gamut and has a brightness of up to 300 nits. Acer Swift 3 is priced from RM3,499 and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019. It is available at all Acer official online stores and all Acer authorised resellers countrywide.

Acer Aspire 3

The new Acer Aspire 3 in electric blue has a thinner design with an ergonomic hinge that pulls in more ventilation from beneath the notebook. It has a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD with 8GB onboard DDR4 RAM and is powered by an Intel Core i7 or i5 processor with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Aspire 3 also includes an HDD upgrade kit and an extra memory slot for increased capacity.

The brand-new Aspire 3 is designed for student and family use, featuring a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display and Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 pre-installed. It costs RM2,899 and is available from all Acer official online stores and all Acer authorised resellers around the country.
