ASUS ROG Malaysia Presents Zephyrus GX501 – The World’s Slimmest Gaming Laptop With GEFORCE GTX 1080!
ASUS ROG Malaysia today held the ROG Press Launch titled; Redefining Gaming and E-sports, and boy they did just that. They’ve revealed on the along-waited ROG Zephyrus, the world’s slimmest gaming laptop powered by a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 (Kaby Lake) processor and the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics.

The Zephyrus offers a super-slim body packed with hardware that rivals high-end gaming desktops in the market right now. Packed in it is NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080 graphics with Max-Q design. There is an optional 120Hz wide-view display that you can opt for. It has a built-in ROG Active Aerodynamics System, which helps maintain powerful cooling and unbeatable acoustic efficiency. It’s keyboard is an RGB keyboard, so you can play with style. With all of this features, while being in a sleek 16.9-17.9mm chassis.
The ROG Strix GD30CI comes with a sleek black and white design and interchangeable front panels, allowing for customization. It’s powered by the latest 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processors and runs on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti graphics. Ideally for eSports, a plug-and-play and hot-swap 2.5-inch SSD module is featured. Also, the exclusive Aegis III software enhances the gaming experience by allowing gamers to easily track CPU and memory usage, monitor networking status, and control fan speeds and Aura RGB lighting effects.
It will be available on this 18th of September, retailing at RM 7499.
Onto the ROG GT51CH, which is a powerful gaming desktop PC featuring a 4.8GHz Intel Core i7-7700K processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 2-way SLI, and 64GB DDR4 2800MHz memory. All combine to create an impressive and beautiful 4K UHD visuals. Also includes the Aegis III as the ROG Strix GD30CI, it’s three-way overclocking technology allows easy and safe processing, graphics card and memory overclocking, ensuring for better gaming experience.
Also announced at the launch is the ROG Masters 2017, which will be held on the same venue as the launch at 1 Utama, New Wing LG Concourse, Malaysia. The Qualifier Grand Finals will take place on 16 and 17 September, with a prize pool of RM100,000. The winners of the qualifiers will be representing Malaysia to compete at the ROG Masters 2017 APAC Qualifier which be held at SMX Convention Center Manila, Philippines on 26-29 October 2017. Subsequently, ROG Masters 2017 International Grand Final to take place at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center Kuala (KLCC) on 7-10 December 2017.
