MacBook Pro 13 with Magic Keyboard announced from RM5599

Apple has announced the update to their 13″ MacBook Pro with the new Magic Keyboard to bring the upgraded endurance and typing experience to the 13″ form factor. You can also get the new MacBook Pro 13 with 10th Gen Intel Core processors, if you are willing to shell out the money for that.

Aside from the fancy new processors, the MacBook Pro 13 can also be equipped with up to 32GB LPDDR4X-3733 memory and 4TB of SSD storage. As a MacBook Pro, the display on the MacBook Pro 13 is a stellar one with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 500-nit brightness and support for the P3 wide color gamut. Apple also implemented their True Tone technology here to ensure more natural colors when working on the MacBook Pro 13. A smaller display is available on the Touch Bar, which now also sports a physical Esc key.

Connectivity is still rather limited on the MacBook Pro 13, with just two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the 8th Gen Intel Core configurations. Since there’s no dedicated charging port, using it while charging leaves you only one free port. The 10th Gen Intel Core models is a lot better, offering four Thunderbolt 3 ports, which is actually quite impressive.

Prices start from a relatively reasonable RM5599 for the 8th Gen Intel Core configurations, before quickly jumping up to RM7999 if you want a more modern 10th Gen Intel Core processor in your MacBook Pro 13.

Pokdepinion: They are still overpriced for the specifications, but any Apple user will tell you that you aren’t paying for the hardware, but for the experience.
