New Lenovo IdeaPad Laptops Will Now Come with Lifetime Access to Microsoft Office

At a launch event in Kuala Lumpur today, Lenovo Malaysia has announced a partnership with Microsoft. This partnership will see consumers who purchase the new 2019 refresh of the Lenovo IdeaPad and IdeaCentre series receiving lifetime access to the Microsoft Office suite. The 2019 refresh of Lenovo’s productivity-centric machines not only offer updated hardware with exciting new features, but it also comes with a surprisingly affordable price tag.

Lenovo IdeaPad C340

First up, we have the Lenovo IdeaPad C340, a 14-inch laptop with a 360° hinge. It’s powered by up to Intel Core i5-8265U CPU, NVIDIA GeForce MX230 GPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM. and 256GB PCIe SSD storage. As it is capable of “transforming” into a tablet, the laptop will come with a digital stylus which will useful for creative works.

For added security, IdeaPad C340 has a cover for the webcam which can be manually closed. This way, you don’t have to worry about people possibly spying on you. One interesting feature of this laptop is the Rapid Charge technology, which allows for 80% charge in just an hour.

Next up, we have the 15-inch Lenovo IdeaPad S340 and the 14-inch IdeaPad S540. It’s a pretty sleek machine with slim top and size bezels with a display up to Full HD resolution. It packs a good amount of firepower for your productivity needs, powered by up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU, 12GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD storage.

Both laptops will have Dolby Audio for a more enhanced listening experience. The idea here is that with the IdeaPad S340, you have a powerful laptop in a compact body while the IdeaPad S540 complements those with a very active, on-the-go lifestyle with its battery life of up to 12 hours.

Then we have the Lenovo IdeaPad L340, for those who need that extra oomph in the graphics department. It’s powered by up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and either 512GB SSD or 2TB HDD. On the GPU end, you will be getting an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with Intel UHD Graphics 630 iGPU.

Despite the GPU, the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 is said to have a battery life of up to 9.5 hours per full charge, even when it comes to watching videos. The Rapid Charge technology here also allows for 80% battery charge within an hour, and to 100% in less than two hours.

Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO A340 Desktop PC

For those who prefer desktop computers for productivity, we have the Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO A340 Desktop PC. It has a 23.8-inch Full HD Anti-glare LED display with borderless panel. It’s powered by up to 8th Gen Intel Core i5-9400T, 4GB DDR4 RAM, and 1TB 5400RPM HDD. You have 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 built-in, two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.1 ports, card rader, 1000M LAN, combo audio jack, HDMI port, and the proprietary DC jack.
