THUNDEROBOT, a Chinese gaming laptop brand founded back in 2014 has arrived in Malaysia, bringing four interesting gaming notebooks to offer some extra options in the Malaysian gaming laptop scene.

THUNDEROBOT Strikes Malaysian Gaming Laptop Market

THUNDEROBOT has just made its debut here in Malaysia, bringing four new gaming laptops to add some variety to the Malaysian market. THUNDEROBOT is a leading brand in China, making its entry into Malaysia all the more interesting.  THUNDEROBOT offers powerful specifications including the latest 7th Generation Intel Core CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series graphics cards. The four laptops that will spearhead the Chinese brand’s entry into Malaysia will be the flagship DINO, along with the 911GT, 911SE and bestseller ST Plus.

THUNDEROBOT DINO

As the flagship model, the DINO features a space-grey all-metal chassis with a signature breathing blue light. Powered by the Intel Core i7 7700HQ and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, the DINO is VR gaming capable. The 15.6″ full HD IPS-level display touts a refresh rate of 120 Hz, so you can take advantage of the immense performance of the GeForce GTX 1070 for a more fluid and immersive gaming experience. If that’s not enough, the DINO is capable of driving up to 2 more 4K displays at 60 Hz. Two fans cool the hardware inside, promising stability and optimum performance even for long hours of gaming.

As with any gaming laptop now, the THUNDEROBOT DINO comes with a RGB backlit keyboard. It can be configured with individual lighting zones and effects. The touchpad is also illuminated for additional bling. The THUNDEROBOT DINO will be priced at RM8899, with 16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB M.2 SSD and a 1TB HDD.

THUNDEROBOT 911GT

The THUNDEROBOT 911GT sports the aesthetics of a performance car, and the performance to boot. The 911GT is bigger than the DINO with a 17.3″ FHD IPS-level display. For a more exciting audio experience, the 911GT has an integrated subwoofer. In the 32.3mm thick chassis lies an Intel i7 7700HQ CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB cooled by dual fans, along with 16GB DDR4 RAM, a 256GB M.2 SSD and a 1TB HDD. The THUNDEROBOT 911GT weighs a hefty 2.93 kg and is priced at RM7099.

THUNDEROBOT 911SE

The keyboard is backlit with white LEDs and surface carving, for better visibility and durability of the key legends, even when gaming in the dark.

While coming in as THUNDEROBOT’s lowest end offering in Malaysia at the moment, the 911SE is no slouch with Intel Wireless-AC for reliable and fast WiFi. What’s more, Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 technology promises a premium audio experience. A 1080p IPS display ensures wide viewing angles and accurate colors.
