vivo X21 Officially Launched — Features In-display Fingerprint Scanning With AI

vivo Malaysia has unveiled their brand new smartphone, the vivo X21 today at Bangsar. It features an In-Display Fingerprint Scanning sensor combined with a FullView Display as well as AI photography.

What sets the phone apart from most smartphones in the market right now is the In-Display Fingerprint Scanning sensor, making a more secure and intuitive unlocking system accessible for users. Compared to your normal rear fingerprint sensor, you can easily unlock the device simply with a flick of the wrist and press on the screen to unlock your phone.

vivo X21 features a 6.28-inch 19:9 ratio FHD+ FullView Display, that comes with a your usual notch at the top. With the new X21, it has ditched the metal body for a new 3D glass back cover. Camera wise, it sports a dual 12MP+5MP rear shooter and a 12MP selfie camera. With its AI capabilities, it can detect subjects in your shots that then adjust accordingly to put in the best settings and effects making for an easy photography session.

Besides that, the X21 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and comes with 6GB RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage. vivo has added the AK4376A audio chipset and comes with Deep Field technology, giving panoramic surround, mega bass, clear voice effect and loads of environmental audio effects.

The phone will be made available here in Malaysia starting from 9th of June 2018 at a price tag of RM2,299 at all vivo concepts stores, authorized resellers, Senheng stores and exclusively at Digi.
