Alcatel Is Back In Town – Releases Three New Smartphones

Well hello hello, it seems that Alcatel is making a comeback to the smartphone market with the launch of three new smartphones; Alcatel 5V, Alcatel 3L, and Alcatel 1.

Alcatel 5V, Alcatel 3L, Alcatel 1 Released In Malaysia

First up is the Alcatel 5V. It offers a FullView 19:9 display with a 6.2-inch screen size. Coming in with a notch on top, it sports a 2.5D Dragontrail glass and curved unibody. With its Optical Vacuum Plating (OPVM) coating, it makes the case shine.

In addition to that, the phone utilizes AI in its camera, where it can detect 11 different scenes and subjects, providing the optimum settings for the best shots.

There’s also a facial unlock system in the phone. If that’s not your style, there’s still the traditional fingerprint sensor on the device

Other specifications include a MT6762 chipset, 3GB RAM that’s paired with 32GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB), and a 4000mAh battery. Camera wise, it offers a 8MP selfie shooter as well as a dual 12MP+2MP main camera setup. Not to forget, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Alcatel 5V is available in two colors Spectrum Black and Spectrum Blue at a price of RM898 (before SST).

On to the Alcatel 3L, it uses a MT6739 chipset. Coming in at 5.5-inch with an 18:9 ratio display, it packs 2GB RAM that comes with 16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 128GB). To power it up, it offers a 3000mAh battery  and it also runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

For cameras, it offers a 13MP shooter with PDAF at the rear and it sports a front 5MP shooter. It is now available in Metallic Black and Metallic Blue at a price of RM498 (before SST).

Last but not least is the Alcatel 1. Running on Android Oreo (Go Edition), it offers a 5-inch FullView Display. Memory wise, it has 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB). For its SoC, it uses a Mediatek MT676739.

It uses a 5MP camera on the rear and a 2MP on the front. For its battery, it comes with a 2000mAh battery.

The Alcatel 1 can be found in the Soft Suede Collection in Malaysia for a price of RM298 (before SST).
