Black Shark has revealed that they are coming up with a brand new smartphone, the Black Shark 2 Pro. The gaming smartphone is set to be unveiled this July 30 2019.

Though it isn’t mentioned specifically at the poster, it’s not wrong to guess that Black Shark will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ (Plus) inside the Pro version. Why? Well recently nubia has confirmed that they are releasing a Red Magic 3 variant that comes with the newly announced chipset. Adding to that, rumors has been going on that ASUS ROG’s upcoming ROG Phone 2 will also join the party in fitting the SoC in their phone.

Aside from the Snapdragon 855+ inclusion, it is unknown on whether Black Shark will offer anything else that’s new to the Black Shark 2 Pro.

If you’re wondering on what the new Snapdragon 855+ brings to the table, well it offers 15% faster GPU performance to its predecessor. Though it might not seem much, it will definitely bring in a smoother experience in terms of mobile gaming.

Pokdepinion: So… Black Shark 2 Pro, ROG Phone 2, and nubia Red Magic 3… a tough choice. I’d definitely wait for the ROG Phone 2 though and see what they’ve got cooking for the device first.
