Probably not the best date to launch a phone… However the marketing and sales partner of Black Shark in Malaysia has revealed to Lowyat.net regarding their plans to introduce the Black Shark 2 on 1st April. Interestingly, the Black Shark 2 will arrive before the Black Shark Helo even makes it to our shores officially.

While the Black Shark 2’s Malaysia launch date is set, there aren’t any information regarding which variant we will be getting here in Malaysia. If we are to speculate based on the track record of the original Black Shark, we will definitely be seeing the base specification, but whether which of the higher end options, or which color, remains to be seen.

The Black Shark 2 offers a slew of upgrades over the original Black Shark and Black Shark Helo, with a pressure-sensitive display, AMOLED screen and a much beefier vapor chamber cooling system designed to offer much better sustained performance when gaming.
