Unveiled at this year’s HUAWEI Developer Conference 2020 by Wang Chenglu, HUAWEI has outlined several new features of the company’s operating system, EMUI 11.

One of the new features that EMUI 11 will bring is its Always-On Display (AOD) options, where the UI lets you to customize your screen with a primary color palette of red, yellow, and blue and pick your own skin.

You can also expect upgrades on MeeTime as well as the Multi-Screen Collaboration feature with EMUI 11. They’ve claimed that users are no longer bound by hardware limitations and are free to customize their experience based on their individual needs and preferences.

The new Multi-Screen Collaboration update allows it to be supported up to three active windows, offering more flexibility to users. It also allows the tablet to act as an external webcam or second screen for the PC, while the PC can share its input peripherals with the tablet.

In terms of security, EMUI 11 allows users to purge image files before transferring of all sensitive data such as location, time, and device details before it is sent. In addition to that, encrypted memos also keep personal notes personal by securing the content with a PIN or biometric lock.

HUAWEI has revealed of the beta program for EMUI 11, where eligible devices include the HUAWEI P40 series, HUAWEI Mate 30 series, HUAWEI MatePad Pro. Beta program will soon be added to the HONOR 30, HONOR V30, and HUAWEI nova 7 later on.
