EMUI 8.0 Oreo Now Out For HUAWEI nova 2i – Finally Optimized

While previously users of HUAWEI’s nova 2i had to wait for the update and only able to try out the beta version, the official EMUI 8.0 (Android Oreo 8.0) is now made available for the smartphone.

EMUI 8.0 Oreo Now Out For HUAWEI nova 2i - Finally Optimized 28It was announced by the company today that the update is now available starting from today onwards for all nova 2i users. With EMUI 8.0, your device can now predict your intentions, and provide recommendation to the function that users need in order to improve the smartphone’s efficiency. The update includes a navigation dock where users can place the home button freely on the screen along with the shortcut dock.

The update will let users experience a smarter and faster experience than previously. Users are also allowed to view two apps concurrently to improve productivity.

HUAWEI nova 2i was launched last year, where it features a 5.9-inch FullView Display, a quad camera, running on a Kirin 659 chipset as well as having 4GB RAM that is paired with 64GB of expandable storage. Currently the device is priced at RM1,099.

Pokdepinion: Well, any HUAWEI nova 2i users here? What do you think of the update? It’s definitely going to enhance the experience of using the device. For me personally, I don’t fancy smartphones that emphasizes on its front camera, I’m just not a selfie type of person. That said, priced at RM1,099, I think it is still at an acceptable price.
