In recent times, there has been cases of YES 4G Phones burning up or exploding. It appears that a new case has appeared where a girl claims that the phone burned down her neighbour’s house. What’s unique about this time around? Well she changed her claims afterward.

Here’s the original tweet that she posted, thanks to the tip from one of our readers. Her claims that the phone had been the cause of the fire even got the attention of politician Syed Saddiq, where he even said that the company and state government should compensate for the damages as shown below.

After the incident, it seems that the public has gathered and provided aid and support for the victim’s house. Following that, the neighbour that made the claims then suddenly changed her statement, saying that the cause of the fire wasn’t made by the phone but instead due to short circuit from the house itself. She acknowledges that it was her fault for not confirming the real cause of the fire and said sorry for the confusion caused by her tweets. Unfortunately she has then made her Twitter account private. It’s not known if she has deleted her original tweets or not. It is also unclear on whether YES will take any actions due to the misinformation that she has spread but we’ll sure to update you should there be more details. Pokdepinion: This is why you should do your research properly beforehand. Not only did she influenced a politician with misinformation but also created a negative image towards YES. I’m just worried that people won’t take exploding phones seriously next time that a real case happens. This article isn’t meant to disgrace her or anything.
