As we get closer to the launch of the HUAWEI Mate 20, we are seeing more leaks revealing more of the device. We have seen peeks at the device’s design, and we got a first-hand look at what the Kirin 980 that’s going to be in the upcoming HUAWEI flagship is capable of. And we just saw a leak on Weibo that seems to hint towards a graphene-based cooling solution in the HUAWEI Mate 20.

The slide claims that graphene can deliver up to 4x better heat dissipation than conventional cooling methods, which should prove amazing when coupled with the Kirin 980. Better cooling should allow the chipset to sustain higher performance levels over longer periods of time, which should help it deliver the performance that HUAWEI is so proud of.

Also shared in the leak was what appears to the cooling system for an upcoming MateBook. Coming from gaming laptops, a dual-heatpipe, dual-fan configuration is not impressive, but for an ultrathin design like previous MateBooks, it stands to be pretty impressive.

The wait for the HUAWEI launch on 16th October has just gotten more exciting. Which device are you more excited about? The HUAWEI Mate 20 or the upcoming MateBook?
