The HONOR X10 has appeared on China’s TENAA certification body’s website, which means that it is set for launch. The device is expected to replace the HONOR 9X series, despite somehow deciding that the letter should come first instead.

HONOR looks intent on keeping the side-mounted fingerprint sensor design, as the HONOR X10 also features what looks like a fingerprint scanner-cum-power button on the right flank. The darkness of the screen in the images taken by TENAA doesn’t really reveal whether there’s a selfie camera, although given that the HONOR 9X series hid the selfie camera away in a popup mechanism, the HONOR X10 might offer more of the same. Leaks have pointed to the display itself being a 6.63″ FHD+ LCD panel, which is unfortunate for anyone expecting an OLED panel here.

Meanwhile the rear of the device is more interesting. In addition to the fancy color options, you can spot a sneaky RYYB label under the sizeable camera hump. Which means that the HONOR X10 might offer the 40MP SuperSpectrum main camera from the HONOR V30 series. This appears to be a quad-camera setup, although I would expect there to be a depth sensor somewhere in there, considering that this should be slotting into the budget mid-range segment instead of the more premium HONOR 30S.

According to the leaks, it will share the Kirin 820 5G chipset with the HONOR 30S though. The TENAA listing does reveal that the HONOR X10 will feature 5G connectivity, lending credence to the leak. That also means that 5G will be more accessible than ever with it appearing in this device. The battery is a large-ish 4200 mAh with 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging.

Stay tuned for more information as we will be sharing more about the HONOR X10 as we find out about it.
