HUAWEI has introduced at its home market the latest Nova series in the form of the Nova 3 and Nova 3i .

HUAWEI Nova 3 & Nova 3i Coming Soon

Coming as a headline feature for the new phone is that they will come with GPU Turbo, or as its namesake, a graphics processing accelerator. With it, it should offer an experience that’s immersive, especially towards those who game on their smartphones.

It was reported that HUAWEI has said that this feature will boost graphic performance on the phone by 60% while also reduce the energy consumption of the device by 30%. That is quite a stat to say the least.

Specification wise, the Nova 3 will run on a Kirin 970 chipset and will be having a 3750mAh battery under the hood. As a part of the selfie superstar family, its front shooter comes with a dual 24MP+2MP for selfies. For the main camera, it offers also a dual arrangement which sees a combo of 16MP+24MP camera setup.

Running on EMUI 8.2, it offers 6GB RAM (Nova 3) which is paired with 64GB/128GB of internal memory. The device will also feature  3D Face Scanning, which you can use ‘animoji’ which they call it 3D Qmoji.

There will be three available color variants; Twilight Green, Coral Blue, and Yellow Gold. Pricing and release date in Malaysia has not been confirmed but we will update you once we’ve got the details.

Pokdepinion: Seems all iPhone-ish with the whole 3D face scanning and animoji, but then suddenly that GPU Turbo pops out. This could be an interesting phone. Well we’ll know more when it is released here in our shores. Until then, stay tuned for more information.
