Nokia had just about enough with your Nokia 3310 memes, guys. They have decided to give in and make a phone that will put the Nokia 3310 to shame. They announced the Nokia 800 Tough, a military-grade feature phone that might really break your floor before it breaks.

The Nokia 800 Tough is built with durability in mind. It’s IP68 waterproof and dustproof, and can withstand drops from up to 1.8m on concrete floors. It’s MIL-STD 810G-certified too, which means it can withstand extreme weather conditions better than you. For any adventurous souls out there looking for a phone to stay connected with on their next extreme outdoor #wanderlust adventure, this is the phone for you.

It also comes with 4G connectivity, Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Assistant and also the ability to hotspot. But did I tell you the Nokia 800 Tough might very well be tougher than the Nokia 3310? Yeah.

For those of you who want a less imposing device, there’s the sleek Nokia 2720 Flip. Anyone who has ever used a flip phone would almost immediately fall in love with it. It’s no smartphone, but it comes complete with Whatsapp, Facebook and Google Assistant and 4G connectivity, just like the Nokia 800 Tough. Nokia intends it to help in your social media detox, although we know you will want one just for the kick of flipping your phone open on a whim.

The last feature phone to be announced at IFA 2019 today is the Nokia 110. It looks pretty basic, because it is. It comes with the capability to deliver up to 14 hours of talk time, and also comes with the ability to play music off a microSD card or tune in to FM radio for entertainment. Ther’s a qVGA camera for the necessities, and of course, there are a number of games. Snake, is free.

The Nokia 800 Tough will be launched at 109 Euros (~RM505), while the Nokia 2720 Flip comes in at 89 Euros (~RM412). The Nokia 110 will be ridiculously affordable at $20 (~RM84), making it perfect for anyone looking for a phone to play snake on. Don’t worry though, EU pricing is usually much too high with their taxes and stuff. Expect to see a more reasonable price tag when it arrives here in Malaysia!
