An increasing number of iPhone 14 Pro users are reporting a strange display issue when booting up or unlocking their devices. The issue presents as green and yellow horizontal lines on the screen that disappear later during the startup process, which does not significantly impact the user experience.

Apple has acknowledged the issue and announced that they will release a software update to fix it soon. The fix is expected to be released as part of a small patch update or with iOS 16.3, which is currently being tested by Apple and members of the public beta program.

Although the response is not official, it was reported in internal memos by sources familiar with the matter. The issue was first reported last month, and Apple appears to be quick in addressing it. Hopefully, the next software version will resolve this issue.

Pokdepinion: Well, I’m on 14 Plus so I don’t have any issues. If anything, I’m just still surprised by how long the battery lasts, but that ain’t even a problem. I’ll make the move to Dynamic Island this year instead when we finally get USB-C on an iPhone.
