iPhone SE 2022 Will Move Back to iPhone 8 Design and Powered by Apple A15 25

If you’re a fan of the classic iPhone design, this might be great news for you as the upcoming iPhone SE 2022 is expected to move back to the iPhone 8 design but with newer hardware, which also includes 5G support. Here’s what you need to know.

We are expected to see the launch of the new iPhone SE 2022 sometime early next year. Unlike the mainstream models which have since gone for the full screen experience on the front, this one will retain its classic design, similarly to the iPhone 8.

At the moment, we’re expected to see a 4.7-inch LCD display, relatively large upper and lower bezels, curved aluminum frame, a single rear camera setup, and the return of the Touch ID-based Home Button, giving it that iconic iPhone look.

As far as hardware is concerned, it will have a setup that will match modern iPhones. From what we know thus far, it’s expected to be running on the Apple A15 SoC, the same one used on the iPhone 13, which also means it will have 5G support.

No other details on the Apple iPhone SE 2022 is available at the moment, so there is no clue on how big the battery is or what type of camera sensor it will be using. If true, it’s said to start production sometime in December 2021 with an expectation to launch sometime in Spring 2022.

For now, do take this information with a grain of salt. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: Honestly, I would go for this if it wasn’t for the small screen. I would prefer the size of the Pro Max variants but with the iconic Home Button on it. One can only dream of it at this point.
