Microsoft Lumia 550 — affordable entry level Microsoft phone
You might have learned about the latest Microsoft flagship devices the Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. You may find it quite interesting but the price tag might be beyond your means. Fret not as the Microsoft Lumia 550 is a new entry-level smartphone from Microsoft that you might want to get to experience Windows 10 on a phone.
The Microsoft Lumia 550 comes with lower specifications than the flagship (duh), as a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor that runs at 1.1 GHz that is coupled to 1GB of RAM. It’s also features a 4.7 inch LCD display with a resolution at 720p. Worth noting is full LTE support, courtesy of Qualcomm’s implementation.
8GB of internal storage is expandable via a microSD slot. Imaging wise, the Microsoft Lumia 550 only packs a 5MP rear and a 2MP front camera. Microsoft Lumia 550 will come with a variety of colors option with a detachable polycarbonate back cover. Allowing you to stay away from the wall socket is a 2,100mAh battery, and the whole package measures 136.1 x 67.8 x 9.9mm.
The Microsoft Lumia 550 will be available for purchase this December at USD 139 (MYR 600).
Pokdepinion : The Microsoft Lumia 550 is definitely an upgrade of the Microsoft Lumia 535, with a better camera, processor and more. I would recommend you to get the Microsoft Lumia 550 if you want to try the Windows 10 experience on the phone. Don’t worry about the specification, I used a Nokia Lumia 620, the device runs very smoothly eventhough it only has 512MB of RAM and a dual-core processor. To be honest, I’m also itching to test the Microsoft Lumia 550.
