Microsoft officially announced the Lumia 950 and 950XL — With Windows 10
Microsoft has just officially unveiled their new flagship smartphones, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL. Both devices come with some great specifications and I am quite interested in both devices.
The Lumia 950 comes with a Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM and what most exciting about it’s the implementation of liquid cooling technology. Meanwhile the Lumia 950XL is using a faster Snapdragon 810 processor as well the same amount of RAM and the same liquid cooling technology.
Both Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL also share the same camera sensor – a 20MP PureView module with 5th gen optical stabilization and Carl Zeiss optics, and yes, you can record 4K video with it. On the front camera it will sport a 5MP camera for selfies but there’s only a LED flash on the 950XL.

Both have 32GB of storage, support microSD expansion and using USB type-C connector which allows it to get 50% charge in just 30 minutes. Wireless charging is supported for both devices too. the Lumia 950 is packed with a relatively big 3000mAh battery while the Lumia 950XL enjoices with a bigger battery of 3340mAh.
Next, let’s have a look at the display. Both devices push a QHD AMOLED display with Glance feature. The Lumia 950 has a 5.2 inch screen while the Lumia 950 XL has a bigger screen of 5.7 inch, phablet territory.
The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL will support Microsoft Display Dock for Continuum. It has one HDMI and one DisplayPort, plus three USB ports for accessories. Lastly both devices will be using the latest flavor of Microsoft operating system the Windows 10. The Microsoft Lumia 950 will have price tag at USD 550 and the Microsoft Lumia 950XL will cost USD 650.
Pokdepinion : Both devices has great specification, so which one will be your new Windows Phone device0? Frankly speaking, both devices are actually tiny personal computers because they run Windows 10 and capable of multi-tasking. If I’ve to choose between the Lumia 950 or Lumia 950XL, I will go with the Lumia 950.
