Lei Jun, the co-founder of Xiaomi has recently announced the release date for the new MIUI 12.5 stable version, which will coming this 30th of April 2021.

It seems that the first batch for the update will consists of the Mi 11, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Ultra, and the Mi 9 SE.

The second batch will begin at the end of May 2021, where it will arrive on Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro, Mi 10S, Redmi K40, Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Mi 10 Lite 5G, Redmi K30 Ultra, Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro, Redmi K30S Ultra, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Xiaomi CC9 Pro, Redmi Note 9, Xiaomi CC9, Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Mi 9, Redmi K20 Pro, and finally the Mi 9 Pro 5G.

There’s three version numbers; V12.5.1.0.RKBCNXM, V12.5.1.0.RJJCNXM, and V12.5.1. .0.RFBCNXM where the company claims to offer better overall upgrades to users. They will bring upgraded system dynamics, sound effects, and tactile design.

Pokdepinion: As you might have noticed, the list consists plenty of China models. They’ll definitely bring it to Global variants as well, so don’t worry too much. As for my time in using their devices, Xiaomi hasn’t failed me so far when it comes to their updates.
