These upgrades comes as HONOR has also announced an ecosystem of application to utilize their 3D ToF camera that brings a new era of AR. So what does the Gaming+ brings to the table you might ask? The company have claimed that it will improve SoC energy efficiency by 20.34%. The Mali-G76 chipset upgrade on Kirin 980 includes transform optimization that enhances job scheduling and parallel computing.

In turn, this reduces duplicate instructions and GPU overdraws as well as increase the data transfer speed between CPU, GPU, and memory. The Kirin 980 works seamlessly with the AI frequency modulation scheduling tehnology to predict task loads by monitoring frame rate per second, image quality and touchscreen inputs in real time, and intelligently identifies performance bottlenecks.

As for gaming, the new technology improves load prediction accuracy of each frame by more than 30% compared to traditional methods. Additionally, GPU optimization enhances images quality while also reduce power consumption. With the Gaming+ upgrade, Fortnite Vulkan version can also be supported, bringing in a faster and smoother experience. Games such as QQ Speed and Arena of Valor has also been optimize to support high definition feature.

Pokdepinion: Oh man. I wished that they could’ve come up with this sooner, then I would’ve been able to test it out on the View20..
