The new Nokia 2, which was released in India recently, purely runs on Android 7,1 Nougat. With that in mind, be assure that it will also get constant software updates, as HMD has promised before for all their latest Nokia devices for the Android 8.0 Oreo soon.

The biggest highlight of the new 5-inch HD display Nokia device is its battery, coming in with a 4100mAh battery. As their video showed, it is expected to give you a 2-day battery life (albeit depending on usage).

People rely on their phones so much these days with many people subconsciously rationing their battery life when out and about so they can last the day. We don’t think you should have to do less with your phone which is why we created a smartphone that can power through when other devices need a pit stop Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global

Specifications on the device include a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 212, 1GB RAM LPPDDR3, and 8GB of internal storage with the option of expanding up to 128GB via microSD.

Camera wise, it sports a 8MP with autofocus with LED flash camera on the back and has a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front.

To some, the specifications aren’t something to be excited about but considering that the price is reasonable and users can definitely have a taste of a true Android experience with it’s pure Android build.

Retailing at $115, the Nokia 2 comes in three color variants; Pewter/Black, Pewter/White, and Copper/Black.
