HMD Global, home of Nokia smartphones, has announced that their Nokia 3 will begin to receive the Android Oreo software update starting from today.

Nokia 3 Android Oreo Update

Nokia 3 To Receive Android Oreo Update - Starting From Today 26Nokia 3 will join the rest of the company’s line up namely the Nokia 8, Nokia 6, and Nokia 5 which are already updated to the latest versions of Android Oreo.

With the update on the Nokia 3, you can enjoy the latest features exactly how Google intended. This includes Picture-in-Picture mode and 60 new emojis to express yourself better in chats (who can live without emojis right?). With Android’s Instant Apps, it can help clear out and limit your background app use, this in a way helps the device’s battery to last even longer.

The most recent addition to the Nokia family, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 1, was launched last month with Android Oreo available from the get go, albeit the latter coming with the Go Edition. It seems that Nokia take matters seriously when it comes to giving users the full Android experience, which we’ve seen them doing since the launch of the Nokia 8 last year.

They’ve also been validated by Google to be part of the Android Enterprise Recommended programme with the Nokia 8 being one of the first few devices that was included to it and the recent Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 also included.

Pokdepinion: It’s good to see that Nokia are still holding down to their word in giving the best Android experience to users. Everyone likes a fast update on their devices.
