OnePlus devices were distributed in Malaysia by Mi Han Sdn Bhd before this. However as the official distributor of OnePlus in Malaysia has changed hands to XianFeng Technology, Mi Han will be ending their services as the distributor of OnePlus smartphones. This also means that they won’t be handling after-sales service on their previously sold OnePlus smartphones, but instead hand it off to a third party.

The third party service center handling the after-sales on behalf of Mi Han will be MobileTechnic Sdn Bhd, a service center that also handles Black Shark, Lenovo and Moto smartphones, according to their website. MobileTechnic will also continue honoring the extended warranties that OnePlus has previously offered.

This news comes as the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro has just been officially launched in London. XianFeng Technology will be handling the OnePlus brand here in Malaysia from here on, so let’s see how far can they bring the somewhat ailing brand that has long since diverged from its primary objective which is to bring flagship specifications and price sans the price tag you would usually associate with a top-of-the-line smartphone.

What do you think of OnePlus as a brand, given that their smartphones has gotten a lot more expensive than they were back then?

Pokdepinion: With such an issue, it really makes one wonder… Why don’t we just get AP sets?
