OPPO Tease F5 Dashing Blue Edition – It Looks Dashingly Good!

To celebrate the upcoming Valentine’s Day, OPPO Malaysia is bringing in a new edition of their OPPO F5, the Dashing Blue Edition.

Featuring the color of dashing blue, it perfectly mirrors the light on the chassis of the device. The device sports 20MP for the front camera, paired with f/2.0 aperture and A.I Beauty Recognition Technology. This technology helps with recognizing skin tone and type, gender and age of all subjects in the image and environment lighting. As for its main shooter, it features a 16MP f/1.8 lens that is accompanied with a single LED flash, offering Bokeh effects and offers HDR.

The phone features facial recognition system that you can use to unlock your phone, if you wish to still go with the more traditional way of unlocking your phone (password, pattern, and finger print), they are still there, so no need to worry about that.

Specification wise, if it follows the same specs as the standard F5, the phone runs on Color OS 3.2, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone packs a 4GB RAM which comes with 32GB of internal memory. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3200mAh battery.

The standard OPPO F5 was launched towards the end of last year with the price of RM1298. Although there are no confirmation on the OPPO F5 Dashing Blue Edition, we should expect it to have a similar price. Until then, we’d have to wait and get the full confirmation from OPPO, price wise. Pokdepinion: Honestly speaking, I’m not a fan of ‘selfie’ smartphones, but heck, that Dashing Blue does look good. I’m kind of confused with the color reasoning though.
