OPPO Unveils Latest A Series 2020 Smartphones — Price Starts From RM699
OPPO Malaysia has today launched their new OPPO A Series 2020, where they’ve unveiled the OPPO A9 2020 as well as the OPPO A5 2020 to their mid-range lineup.
Both the A9 2020 and A5 2020 comes with a 6.5-inch display and they pack the same Snapdragon 665 SoC inside. They also come with a quad rear camera setup. A 5000mAh battery is also powering both devices.
What’s different is that the A9 2020 offers a 48MP main camera instead of the 12MP on the A5 2020. Accompanying them is a 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. Additionally, the OPPO A9 2020 has the benefit of EIS that the A5 lacks.
On the front, the OPPO A9 2020 sports a 16MP selfie shooter instead of the A5 2020’s 8MP camera. Though they come with a USB Type-C port, there’s no VOOC fast charging, so that’s a bit of a shame.
Storage wise, the A9 2020 is packed with 8GB RAM that’s paired with 128GB internal storage, which is bigger than the A5 2020’s configuration of 3GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Interested in the OPPO A9 2020 or OPPO A5 2020? Well you can’t get it just yet as it will be coming to stores on the 27th of September 2019. Despite that, you can start to pre-order starting from today for the price of RM1,199 for the A9 2020 and RM699 for the A5 2020.
Pokdepinion: I’m really curious on the battery life. I’ve tested a Snapdragon 665 device before and it was impressive. Hopefully it’ll be the same or even better.
