Xiaomi has pushed out MIUI 10 updates to most of their recent devices, including the Redmi Note 5, Mi 8, Mi MIX 2S and also the older Mi MIX 2. The POCO F1 MIUI 10 official update is yet to be seen though. Beta versions have been around for quite some time, but they have yet to release the Stable version. Well it is definitely getting the update very soon.

It has been announced on the MIUI Forum that the POCO F1 will be receiving the official release next week. Aside from this great announcement, Xiaomi also took the opportunity to address several other issues with the POCO F1, such as the notch interfering with PUBG Mobile as well as the incompatibility with Asphalt 9.

Worth noting is that Xiaomi appears to be referring to the POCO F1 and POCOPHONE F1 as different devices. The former was launched in India, while the latter refers to the same hardware launched globally. So the POCO F1 MIUI 10 update coming next week might not apply globally, but just for the Indian variant.Β [UPDATE]: Mi Malaysia has hinted that Malaysian units of the POCOPHONE F1 will be getting the MIUI 10 update soon too!

Still, the POCOPHONE F1 MIUI 10 update shouldn’t be that far away, considering that the POCO F1 and POCOPHONE F1 are actually one and the same, aside from the naming. This update should fix the touch issues experienced by certain users, as well as the OK Google bug which is somewhat getting on my nerves now. Widevine L1 support is expected to be added soon too, solving a major sore point for movie fans.

Do you own a POCOPHONE F1? Did you install the MIUI 10 Beta updates to get an early taste of MIUI 10? Let us know!

Pokdepinion: I can’t wait for this update to arrive on my POCOPHONE F1! It’s currently my daily driver and I am loving it to bits!
