POCO F3 And POCO X3 Pro Unveiled From RM999

The folks at POCO Global has today launched two new smartphones in the form of the POCO F3 and POCO X3 Pro which packs Snapdragon 800-series chipset starting from the price of RM999.

POCO F3 & POCO X3 Pro launch in Malaysia

First up is the POCO X3 Pro where it comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset and sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD DotDisplay. Adding to that, it offers 120Hz refresh rate as well as 240Hz touch sampling rate and HDR10 support.

You should know that with the Snapdragon 860, it isn’t 5G-capable and most probably among the last 4G chipsets in the market.

For cameras, it offers a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP macro sensor, and finally a 2MP depth shooter. At the front, it comes with a 20MP in-display camera for your selfies.

Other than that, it comes with a 5160mAh battery under the hood which you can charge with its 33W fast charger, dual speakers, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 as well as IR blaster. The good old headphone jack is also available too.

On the other hand is the higher-end POCO F3 which utilizes a Snapdragon 870 chipset (5G) and new LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus to make performance smoother.

Coming with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage that’s paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, it features a 6.67-inch AMOLED E4 DotDisplay that comes with 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling. On top of that, it also supports HDR10+.

For cameras, it comes with a triple camera setup instead, consisting of a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 5MP telemacro shooter. On the front, it uses the same 20MP selfie camera.

Under the hood is a 4520mAh battery that comes with the same 33W fast charger. Entertainment wise, it comes with Dolby Atmos dual speakers and supports Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified.

For the POCO F3, it will be available for RM1,299 for the 6GB+128GB variant and RM1,499 for the 8GB+256GB version from the 27th to 28th of March 2021 while stocks last too. The POCO X3 Pro will be available on Shopee while the POCO F3 will arrive on Lazada.
