POCO M3 Pro 5G Officially Launched From RM699

Today marks the launch of the new POCO M3 Pro 5G, where the device will be available in Malaysia starting from the 6th of June 2021.

Instead of coming with a Snapdragon 662 chipset which was used in the normal POCO M3, the POCO M3 Pro 5G utilizes a Dimensity 700 SoC instead. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate on its 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD DotDisplay.

In terms of storage, it comes with either a 4GB+64GB or 6GB+128GB variants.  Under the hood is a 5000mAh battery which you can charge with its 22.5W in-box charger (charges at 18W).

As for the cameras, it offers a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 48MP main camera, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there’s a 8MP lens that you can use for your selfies.

Available in POCO Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue colour variants, you can get them for RM699 for the 4GB version and RM799 for the bigger 6GB model on Shopee. Feel that it’s a bit too high? POCO is offering for a limited time from 6th of June till 7th of June (11.59pm GMT+8) where you can get it for just RM599 and RM699 respectively.

Pokdepinion: Though I’ve yet to test the phone, I would definitely recommend the higher 6GB RAM version if you’re planning to get it. 4GB doesn’t give a smoother experience as I’ve witnessed from the previous model.
