POCO has once again shook the world by offering a device with the best bang-for-buck in its price category, but this time, it is in a different price segment. The POCO X3 NFC is definitely the best mid-range gaming smartphone you can buy for less than RM1000, and here’s why.

Smooth, efficient performance

The POCO X3 NFC debuts with the Snapdragon 732G, which is an updated variant of last year’s Snapdragon 730G, offering increased CPU and GPU performance. With the Kryo 470 CPU cores running at up to 2.3GHz and a 15% faster GPU, the POCO X3 NFC has what it takes to deliver a smooth gaming experience. The Snapdragon 732G is manufactured on the 8nm process which allows it to offer better battery life than some of the competition at the same time as well.

6.67″ 120Hz display with 240Hz touch sampling

Gone are the days where your furious taps and swipes just aren’t picked up by your device, as the POCO X3 NFC sports 240Hz touch sampling for precise inputs. On top of that, you will be able to see the action better on the 120Hz display, as long as your game supports it. Even if you aren’t gaming, the high 240Hz touch polling rate in combination with the 120Hz display will translate to a significantly smoother user experience than you would get on your average 60Hz smartphone.

Good audio with or without headphones

Unlike most of the smartphones in the market now, the POCO X3 NFC sports stereo speakers and a 3.5mm jack. It’s up to you whether you want to connect headphones or not, but you will be getting a top-notch audio experience regardless. POCO crammed in large speakers for both the top and bottom speakers to give you a flagship-grade stereo sound that will be sure to blow any other device in its price range out of the water.

5160mAh battery with 33W Turbo Charge

Instead of having to game in short bursts because you have to charge your smartphone in between, the POCO X3 NFC lets you be in for the long game. The 5160mAh battery ensures that you have plenty of battery life to game as long as you want, with more left in the tank after you are done. And when you finally need to charge it, the 33W Turbo Charge promises 62% charged in 30 minutes, or a full charge in 65 minutes.

Powerful 64MP AI Quad Camera

Let’s say that you are one of the few who don’t game on your smartphone, well the POCO X3 NFC still has plenty to offer. There’s a quad camera system on its back, led by the main 64MP Sony IMX682 main camera. On top of that, you get a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP macro camera, giving you more flexibility in your shots, along with a 2MP depth sensor for more precise bokeh effects.

In the software department, you will also be looking at stuff like AI Skyscaping, smooth video zoom and vlog mode. The latter is really my favorite feature in MIUI devices, and you should definitely try it for yourself.

Stunning design

The POCO X3 NFC comes in two stunning colors, the Cobalt Blue option you see above, as well as Shadow Grey. Regardless of the color you pick, you will be treated to a beautiful 3D curved back that fits well in your hand, as well as a large POCO logo that refracts light as you move it around for a dynamic look.

Unbeatable value
