While tomorrow is the official launch of the realme C3 here in Malaysia, realme waits for no one. The upcoming realme 6 series has just been spotted on Geekbench, revealing more about their chipset and RAM configuration. And I must say, both the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro are pretty interesting.

realme 6 vs realme 6 pro geekbench

The realme 6, as revealed in earlier leaks, is codenamed RMX2001, while the realme 6 Pro is numbered RMX2061. The Geekbench results hint to a MediaTek Helio G90 powering the realme 6, while the realme 6 Pro features an unconfirmed chipset that goes by the codename atoll, which is suspected to be the new Snapdragon 720G chipset. Both devices are also expected to tout 8GB of RAM.

realme 6 90 hz

With those chipsets, I am quite intrigued about how well the realme 6 series will support 90 Hz gaming, considering that at least one of them will come with a 90 Hz panel. With that said, the Helio G90 doesn’t support 90 Hz refresh rates, but the Helio G90T does. Perhaps the realme 6 will come with the same chipset as the Redmi Note 8 Pro? That would make for a very interesting duo if both the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro feature 90 Hz display panels.

The realme 6 series will be launching in India on 5th March, so stay tuned for more details about realme’s mid-range offerings!

What do you think of the leaked specifications? Yay or nay?
