The Redmi K30 Pro or POCO F2 Pro delivers heavy punches across the board, although it is let down by its 60Hz display. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great panel, but it does put it in an unfavorable spot against most other flagships that now offer at least 90Hz panels. Well, maybe the Redmi K30 Ultra 5G will satiate our need for speed, with it rumored to pack a 120Hz display.

While the refresh rate is not confirmed, its TENAA listing does reveal more about the device. The display will be a 6.67″ AMOLED panel with a FHD+ resolution, similar to the Redmi K30 Pro. On the outside, the Redmi K30 Ultra 5G looks nigh indistinguishable from the POCO F2 Pro, although the innards are expected to be quite different. On the back lies a similar 64MP quad-camera array.

TENAA lists the chipset to run at up to 2.6GHz, which hints at it featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset, instead of the Snapdragon 865. This processor is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, which is greater than the POCO F2 Pro’s highest specced variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The battery might be smaller though, with the listing revealing a 4400mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Redmi might offer the Redmi K30 Ultra 5G in more color options too, with new pink, red and green color options listed. I somewhat doubt that the Redmi K30 Ultra 5G will make it to our shores though, so don’t expect to see it being officially offered here anytime soon.
