ROG Phone 3 is out now!

ROG Phone 3, ASUS’ newest gaming phone has been out merely a week and it’s already being sold online. Spotted on Shopee and sold by seller aztechmy, it has a price range of RM2,879.00 to RM5,579.00. Whether or not the price closely indicates the actual local price for the ROG Phone 3 remains to be seen. I guess we’ll have to wait and see when ASUS actually launches the phone here.

It also looks to be offered in four different configurations: 12GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB and 16GB+512GB. Free gifts are also offered in the form of a phone case, tempered glass screen protector as well as an adapter. According to the listing’s product description, the seller is a local seller who ships locally and never from overseas. They even advised their customers that they can drop by their store in Selayang if there are any issues with the product.

The ROG Phone 3 features a ridiculously powerful spec sheet including a Snapdragon 865+ SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB internal memory and a beefy 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. It also features a display with a 144Hz refresh rate, the highest refresh rate we’ve seen on a smartphone. Also, it was recently discovered that the phone has a hidden 160Hz refresh rate mode so if you want to take a look at how to do that then take a look here.

Pokdepinion: While I can definitely see a lot of people jumping in on this, I would definitely advise people to just wait it out a bit. At least until the ROG Phone 3 officially releases here. It’s a lot safer to buy local devices.
