Samsung Galaxy A80 is the illegitimate love child of the OPPO Find X and OPPO N3
If you are into unique smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A80 definitely touts one of the most unique designs in the market. It not only touts a popup design reminiscent of the OPPO Find X, but Samsung also copied the venerable OPPO N3’s rotating camera to give the mid-range device some impressive selfie chops.
For starters, Samsung packs the Samsung Galaxy A80 with a dual-camera setup, with a 48MP f/2.0 standard angle and 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle shooter partnered up with a 3D Depth sensor. While it usually faces the rear, when you want to take selfies, the cameras will rise up from the back and rotate to face you.
This ingenious design also gives Samsung the ability to enable the use of the capable rear cameras for selfies, but it also allowed them to showcase Samsung’s very first New Infinity Display. No notches, no cutouts, just all screen. The 6.7″ FHD+ Super AMOLED display fills up the front, besting even their own flagship Samsung Galaxy S10 series.
