It appears that we might see a notable shift in the future as all Samsung Galaxy smartphones might not come with a charger inside the box. Here’s what we know thus far.

As many of you may know by now, Samsung has not been including a charger inside the boxes of their flagship devices, including the most recent Galaxy S22 series. Soon, they might be doing the same for their other range of smartphones.

According to a report on SamMobile, retailers in Europe have confirmed that the entry-level smartphones from the Korean giant, such as some of the Galaxy A series, will be coming without a charger. Things might be the same for the mid-tier Galaxy M series devices as well.

With that being said however, Samsung has not confirmed this. It might be the case only for selected markets so it’s hard to make assumptions. We might be able to learn more when we get more details on the Galaxy M23 and Galaxy M33. It would certainly be good to boost profit margins since the ones for the entry level devices are typically minimal at best.

Previously, Apple started the first move to not include chargers in with the iPhones, and Samsung followed suit after. Others brands still include a charger inside, some even with super fast charging capabilities.

Pokdepinion: This is pretty much what I expected when they started doing this for the flagships. I also foresee the same thing happening with their tablets somewhere down the road but we’ll see what they have planned for the future.
