The new iPhones are pretty pricey, despite them being slightly more affordable than their predecessors. With that said, Picodi.com did their research to find out how many days’ wages do people around the world need to save up to afford the new iPhone 11 Pro 64GB.

According to their data, the average salary in Malaysia is RM3421.96, and it would take 30.1 working days to afford the new iPhone 11 Pro which is priced at RM4899 here in Malaysia. That’s without calculating for living expenses. Basically the only way you can afford it within 30 days, given that you earn the average salary in Malaysia, is you don’t miss work, you don’t eat, you don’t drink, you walk to work and you live with your parents.

But we don’t have it that bad. Mexicans have to save up for 54.2 days to afford the new iPhone 11 Pro. On the flip side of the coin, there’s Switzerland. The Swiss just has to work 4.8 days to afford an iPhone 11 Pro. Our neighbors in Singapore have to save up for 8.4 days, while the people in China have to save up 30.4 days, pretty similar to our situation.

On the other hand, based on these statistics, you would only have to save up 9.8 days to afford a Xiaomi Mi 9 128GB. #BaikBeliMi9
