The ROG Phone II 128GB with official Malaysian warranty is now available for just RM2499
During the ROG Mamak Conquest event last year, it was revealed that ASUS Malaysia was planning to bring in a Strix Edition of the ROG Phone II. It was slated to be a lot more affordable than the previous variants of the ROG Phone II available in Malaysia by packing less RAM and storage. And boy, is it more wallet friendly.
DirectD has just revealed the new ROG Phone II 8GB + 128GB’s pricing and it’s really quite affordable at RM2499. With such an affordable price tag, it seems that the ROG Phone II will go toe to toe with lesser gaming devices like the Black Shark 2 Pro and nubia Red Magic 3S.
Interestingly, instead of offering a similar package with the ROG Phone II Tencent Edition which was pretty barebones, the ROG Phone II 128GB variant will come with all the frills that came with the more premium ROG Phone II versions already available in Malaysia officially.
You will get the AeroActive cooler, the Aero Case and also the 30W USB-C charger. That’s a far cry from the ROG Phone II Tencent Edition’s spartan accessories package. Good things do come to those who wait, it appears.
