Tipster Claims Exynos 2200 Will Beat Snapdragon 895

With the Exynos 2100 putting up quite a good fight against the Snapdragon 888, many consumers grew more excited to see if Qualcomm’s mobile SoC could finally be dethroned in the future. Now, a tipster has claimed that the upcoming Exynos 2200 will beat the Snapdragon 895.

It appears that the Exynos 2200 SoC has surfaced on 3DMark’s Wild Life benchmark with a score of 8,134. which is easily higher than the Snapdragon 888. Interestingly, a tipster claimed that it will also beat the next Qualcomm flagship SoC, which is currently labeled as the Snapdragon 895.

This tidbit was given by @TheGalox_ on Twitter, who claims that Samsung’s next flagship SoC will be stronger than the Snapdragon 895 in both CPU and GPU performance. He also mentioned that it will have better GPU performance than the Apple A15 chip, although it loses in CPU performance.

With that being said however, do take this information with a grain of salt. We have no supporting data that can back up these claims but we will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: Given previous claims of Exynos beating Snapdragon and it never came true, I would take this with a grain of salt. However, if there was ever a time that it could actually happen, next year seems to be the best chance yet.
