TP-Link Announce New Neffos C5s – How Affordable Is ‘Affordable’?

Neffos, the smartphone division under the wings of TP-Link has announced of a new smartphone in the form of the new Neffos C5s. Another budget friendly device which continues their traditional aim of  the market.

The new C5s comes with a 5-inch LCD display that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Under the hood, it packs a 2,340mAh battery and utilizes a MediaTek MT6735 chipset.

Memory wise, you’ll get 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB of internal storage. The front camera sports a 2MP shooter for your selfies, while at the back, there’s a 5MP camera located there which is comes with auto-focus and accompanied by an LED flash. You can also use it’s 10-level real-time beauty mode to further enhance your selfie shots.

While they have announced it is coming and will be available here in our shores this year, price of the device is still yet to be unveiled. They did however mentioned that it will be priced at an affordable rate and judging from the prices of their previous smartphones, we can testify that they are being honest about it. Until then, stay tuned until we get more updates on the device.

Pokdepinion: While the known specifications of the device may not seem alluring…. Neffos usually gives back on what you pay for. Personally, I can’t utilize this as my daily driver, but I can see some might do with this device. They are those who don’t want to break the bank and would rather just get something that they can get by the day with and use the normal call and messaging functions.
